أعضاء بالكونغرس الأمريكي يدعون البيت الأبيض للاعتراف بإبادة “داعش” للمسيحيين + رد على الخبر
كنيسة مدمرة في سوريا.. طلب عدد من أعضاء الكونغرس الأمريكي من إدارة الرئيس بارام اوباما الاعتراف بإبادة المسيحيين في الشرق الأوسط من قبل تنظيم “داعش” الإرهابي.
وأعرب 30 عضوا من الكونغرس وعلى رأسهم رئيس لجنة الشؤون الخارجية في مجلس النواب آد رويس في رسالة وجهوها إلى وزير الخارجية جون كيري، عن قلقهم بشأن نية البيت الأبيض وصف أعمال “داعش” بحق الايزيديين بالإبادة والامتناع عن تطبيق هذا الوصف بالنسبة للمسيحيين وغيرهم من الأقليات المضطهدة بالمنطقة.
وجاء في الرسالة: “المسيحيون وغيرهم من الأقليات يواجهون خطر أعمال القتل الجماعية والصلب والرق الجنسي والتعذيب وقطع الرؤوس وخطف الأطفال وغيرها من أعمال العنف من قبل مسلحي داعش”.
وأشار الرسالة إلى أن تصنيف “الإبادة” يمثل “حالة نادرة ومهمة”، ولاتخاذ قرار نهائي بهذا الشأن يجب أن تجري الإدارة الأمريكية مشاورات مع الكونغرس.
يذكر أن آن باترسون مساعدة وزير الخارجية الأمريكي أبلغت لجنة الشؤون الخارجية بمجلس النواب في نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني بأن إدارة أوباما ستعترف قريبا بإبادة الايزيديين على يد مسلحي “داعش”.

The 30 members of Congress, led by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives Ed Royce wrote a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry, expressed concern about the intention of the White House described the “Daash” acts against the Yazidis genocide and to refrain from the application of this description for Christians and other persecuted minorities region.
The letter stated: “Christians and other minorities are at risk of mass killings and steel, sexual slavery, torture, beheadings and kidnapping of children and other acts of violence by militants Daash”.
The letter pointed out that “genocide” rating represents a “rare and important case,” and to take a final decision in this regard must be that the US administration was consulting with Congress.
The Anne Patterson, US Assistant Secretary of State informed the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives in November that the Obama administration will recognize soon Yazidis extermination at the hands of militants, “Daash”.
